Brief info
I am an Associate Professor in the School of Education at UOW. My focus in literacy education has been a defining characteristic of my career, beginning from my experience teaching EAL/D in senior secondary education. I have experience teaching in NSW high schools, engaging in consultancy in schools, delivering professional development for teachers, working collaboratively with teachers in research and in lecturing and research at the tertiary level.
I am particularly motivated by the challenge of ensuring equal access and equitable educational outcomes for all students.
